10 Reasons Why Every Home Should Have a Cat

If you think that cats are good for nothing except eating and sleeping, this article might just change your mind.

  1. They can do your taxes for you.

Cats are exceptionally good accountants. The cost of having a cat in your home will be more than offset by the tax benefits that a cat will save for you.
  2. They are good with computers.

Cats are especially proficient when it comes to C(at) programming and Autocad.
  3. They can guard your house for you.

While dogs can only guard your house as far as your fence, a cat can cover the whole neighbourhood.
  4. Cats can drive you to work and fetch your kids from school.

Gone are the days of having to rush to fetch your kids. Just send the cat. You'll still need to let them get a license first though.
  5. Cats are good photographers.

While it is true that cats do have poor depth perception, Beethoven didn't let becoming deaf get in the way of composing either. You'll be amazed by the photographs that your cat can take if you let them have a camera.
  6. Cats can help with the chores at home.

Here, we see a cat ironing his 1000th suit for the day.
  7. While cats may not help to bring home the bacon, they do help to bring home the fish.

  8. They are always up to date on the latest trends.

Here, we see a cat practising for his next breakdancing competition. You'll no longer have to endure being clueless while the neighbours talk about the latest big thing to hit town. With a cat around, you'll always be the first to know.
  9. They are the most suitable candidates for Santa when Christmas is round the corner.

They have no problems climbing roofs, they see perfectly well in the dark, and they don't make a single sound when they walk. Best of all, they already come equipped with whiskers. Gone are the days of having to sneak around in the dark on Christmas night trying not to snub your toes just to fill that stocking (or stockings).
  10. And last but not least, you can always depend on your cat to help save the day.

It is a well kept secret, but all superheroes are actually sidekicks for a cat. Cats have been responsible for averting quite a number of the world's disasters. The fact that you have never heard of this before just goes to show how efficient cats are. They work to prevent disasters before the general population can even hear about it and panic.

Since when is urinating on a climbing tree a trend? And this is probably the 9001st time this has been posted, by the way, and probably a total of 2,500,000 each individual image has been. Why does everyone who steals this and puts it on some random blog feel that someone wants to see it yet again and visit a lame Web site via StumbleUpon? Heck, the site you're hotlinking to with [not] your images is probably the 8992nd site.

Really, if you're just going to post images older than Edna Parker, you should expect comments like this from random visitors whom you anger with your repetitive theft.

Aw, what's with all those haters! I don't see any reason why someone has to post such harsh comments... please don't mind them.
Anyways I enjoyed reading this - nothing wrong with another article to make me smile!

Me neither! It made me smile, what's wrong with that? I have seen some of the pics before (hell, I've used some of them myself!) but this is a nicely written piece. In fact, I'm gonna blog it! lol! :-)))

they are probably sad about something completely unrelated to cats.
Nicely done! I sent it to my girlfriend, her head will probably explode from the cuteness of the last photo.

Some humans prove why cats have higher rankings in the cute league! ;)
I have never seen some of these pics and even if I had they still made my day, thanks for the effort you put into making me smile.

I have 6 Turkish Angoras, they would agree with not affording a Dog.
Even though one of them fetches like one.
Thank You For The Article, made me smile.

Some people spend WAY too much time on StumbleUpon if they have seen this so many times another posting would annoy them. Get a life and you may not see the same thing over and over again anymore. I thought it was cute and had never seen it before, and I did stumble here.
