Microsoft is taking over the world. It's true! They already almost exclusively control one of the world's most powerful pieces of equipment. In fact, I bet you're using a computer that runs a Windows operating system. But that's just the tip of the iceberg.
To prevent the destruction of the free world by Bill Gate's progeny, each week I will inform you on another Microsoft scheme. To find more schemes, check my profile.
Windows
To kick it off let's talk more about the Windows line of Operating Systems. Windows has almost complete control over your computer, but more importantly, the information stored within the drives inside it. Once you're connected to the internet, Microsoft could start looking through your whole system. Now some people will be saying that, "there are no programs in Windows that could do that!" Well, do YOU truly know what is in Windows, especially Vista? When you install Vista, it takes a considerable chunk of your HD space, and when it runs it eats up memory. Perhaps it takes so much memory because Microsoft is continually searching through your computer when it is connected to the internet, and organizing information to send to Microsoft when it's offline.
Why does it take so long to copy and paste files in Vista anyway? This is probably because Vista indexes files so that they are easier to find in a search later on. This is handy for us-but also for Microsoft. Now they have the contents pages of millions of innocent people's information.
A Scenario
Imagine this; good ole' Gatesy has a sudden craving for your latest essay that you wrote. He jogs to the database, goes through about 20 different security systems and then sits in the sinister-looking leather chair. He proceeds with more passwords, then types in your name. Up comes your computer's index pages and Bill starts to transfer that Biology paper you wrote last semester to his flash drive. Now I bet you wished that you had turned your computer off last night instead of hibernating it.
Here, there's no harm done, except that Bill Gates can now get a Diploma in Biology, but I'm sure that you can see the possible problems with the availability of any information on any Windows computers to the Microsoft team.
Make Their Lives Easier
Many of you must have seen some of the following;
- Microsoft OneNote
- Microsoft Expression Media
- Microsoft Visio
- Etc...
All these kind of programs allow you to organize your information more efficiently and tidily. I suppose by now you know that I am going to tell you that the purpose of releasing these programs is to make the information-stealers at Microsoft happier. You see, it's hard to find your confidential information when it is surrounded in piles of irrelevant information, and once-used programs that have flooded your computer with random files. When you organize your files into tidy Notebooks and folders, then Microsoft can go straight for your "Business" Notebook and get what Bill wanted faster.
So, a big Thank You from Microsoft goes out to you, because the first employee to find your online bank account details gets lunch with Mr. Gates.
Final Note
Anyway, why did you think they called the operating system "Windows"?
It's a window into your personal information; they look through it and steal your stuff.
