The Way It Needs to Be

The way we need PC parts.

Why? Why are computer parts priced so high? There is no logical explanation for it. Sure, some might say that all the time it takes to develop cutting edge parts makes the amount of money you pay for them worth it but I disagree. For example, if they priced parts lower, then more people would buy them and in turn that means they would probably make the same amount of money they do now. Another thing, many gamers don't use computers because they are so expensive to maintain. Well, if you lower prices you will convert more gamers over to PC because frankly no console has yet been able to match the graphics power of a PC.

Another thing I have a problem with is the fact that the PC parts which were top of the line today decrease in price to under $100 within 3 years usually, which is when some gamers decide to buy their parts. But then you hear them complaining that they can't beat the guy with top of the line parts. Well you know what the gaming experience would be better without 10,000 people complaining. I can understand if they are getting their butts handed to them by some uber nerd who never stops playing. Amazingly PC gamers are still confused on how this industry is losing people so quickly. It is because this lifestyle is to expensive to maintain. This goes for you office workers as well, prices for your servers and other maintenance are going to be a point of large spending. We should demand cheap, longer lasting PC parts from the people who supply them. After all, it is only a piece of silicon with some transistors on it. It is up to you guys, cheap or expensive.
