This is how me and my friends play beer pong. Here are the guidelines and rules of the way we play. Some people play with a paddle, but we just toss the ball.
First off set up two cups on each side of the table halfway full of water to wash your pong balls.
Then setup 12 cups on the opposite sides from each other in the form of pins at a bowling alley, in the triangular shape.
Now fill each cup about halfway with your choice of alcohol, preferably beer.
If it is a one on one, then each player stands on opposite sides and stares each other in the eyes and try to throw the ball in the cups furthest away (the opponent's cups) to see who goes first.
Then once decided the person that goes first gets both balls and try to make them in your cups. If he or she does then you have to drink the cups he or she made it in.
Then it is your turn and you try to make it in their cups, you always get two turns. These steps repeat until there is only one cup left.
Once your opponent has only one cup remaining you have to get both of your balls in that same cup one after the other.
If you do make both balls, then they have a chance to make one in yours to stay in it.
The person who has no cups left loses and has to drink your remaining cups also.
Some additional rules are; if you air ball (miss the table) both balls you have to drink one of your cups. Another rule would be if you make both balls in the same cup and they have at least 4 cups they have to drink 3 cups!
