I am a teacher in an elementary school and I can say that children are really funny. Hear are just a few ante dotes I got in my class in just one day.
During a spelling test I asked my students to spell the word introduced. A little boy wrote I-N-T-O J-U-I-C-E-D.
I was discussing the CSME during Social Studies with my class and I was talking about the involvement of the Caribbean. I said “If you want to go to a Caribbean island for example like ………”
A child shouted “Miss like America?”
Another child said, “Why you so stupid, America in the Caribbean, Miss talking about places like Mexico.”
November 4th 2008 was an important day around the world, being Election Day in the United States of America. I decided that it was something my children should be aware of so I stood in front of the class and I said, “Class, today is a very historically day in America, do you know what today is?” There was whispering about the class about the election but one little girl got up and said very confidently, “Miss, today is Eid”.
