We DO have that at my school! It's called History of Jazz and Rock and Roll. It's a semester class, and it's pretty much a blow-off course.
All we ever did was watch incredible classic rock and roll movies and musicals like The Rocky Horror Picture Show, Help! by the Beatles, The Who's Tommy, and during the jazz quarter, we watch Some Like It Hot with Marilyn Monroe. We had no homework, and we even got to go to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum in Cleveland, Ohio.....twice!!
However, the school finally realized that it was not a challenging class at all, and decided to change up the curriculum completely to include research reports, homework, and NO field trips. What a shame. Well, I'm glad I took it when it was still incredibly easy!
