Clark Kent, as we all knew, had a dual identity. He was either mild mannered Clark Kent, or Superman, the man of Steel. We all have a dual identity to some extend like Clark Kent/Superman. Our dual identity is not looked on the same way as his. Our dual identity is something simpler. It is who we are, and how others see us.
This is something that everyone deals with every day of his or her lives. The times we may notice it most is when we are interviewing for a position and when there is someone we are interested in dating. There are many times when we do not even know we are struggling with this dual identity.
There are traits and values oftentimes that we may desire others to see, and while they come out of us and people see them, as we want them to, other things about us are visible that we are unaware of. There could be a little chink in your armor concerning one little item that when it is revealed, shows you to be less self-confident.
These types of issues are not always easy to deal with. Every person has them. Oftentimes when they are revealed that is when we are most vulnerable. This is an obstacle everyone has to endure. That is why sometimes it is best to find the place where you fit in, but most of that is also has to deal with how you feel about who you are.
In many ways that is why role models are so important. Whether real or imaginary they can help you focus, and help to change the way you are perceived by others. You take away what you learn from them. If they are a character perhaps you imagine yourself as them. Being able to change who we are every moment of our lives is what makes us special.
