Management can easily be defined as a daily business. Management can simply be maintained as a marriage. A beautiful ceremony of blissfully splendid events, of the things to arise. Now in order to factor in the various elements mentioned in the text, we would have to mention the card game called pinochle. This is a complex game of cards played with more than one deck of cards. In pinochle it is a game of trick where the queen of spades is linked with the jack of diamonds. “The most successful marriage is of beauty and blood” (Lloyd Rose). This is both factual and also a comical perspective. Respectively, to make the initial play is the offense of leading. Regretfully, controlling is the defensive attack simply meaning an instrument or set of instrumental used to operate, regulate, or guide a mechanism into excellent performance.
Leaders are solely responsible for planning organizing leading and controlling a business or organization. Management and leadership are different; however, they do complement each other. One hand seemingly washes the other. The manager of a business is responsible for maintaining stabilization of a union. Without these antics, the business could self destruct, typically times can be catastrophic. Oftentimes, corporations are highly over managed. Capacity need to be developed in order to exercise leadership. Successful leadership does not just come alone they are bred. Scouts are out constantly seeking to expose potential prospects. Scout, an essential character in the book by Harper Lee “To Kill a Mockingbird” is a viably smart and highly intellectual girl (Lee, 1960). Management actively seeks out strong people with leadership skills for the nourishing and encouragement of business.
Planning is a major management process. This is done in order to produce results and not to induce change. Management planning requires gathering research. Broad ranges of data are collected and relationships successfully complete a job. Good leaders can be highly motivating. They are capable of articulating a business; alleviate as much stress as possible on the participants. There by causing the work to become important to the constituents involved. People are led to grow professionally and enhancing their self-esteem. Rewards are thus granted ensuring a sense of accomplishments.
Scenario
Throughout a life span of forty years and some change, Perspicacious Paul was afforded many career choices. This entailed his ability to transfer to and from several job opportunities. Paul essential tools consisted of a frail quill and an endless inkwell. His abilities became immeasurable, at the time an arduous task. As matters progressed time took notice of the fact that Paul had arms, which often surpassed his feet. As he began to palisade back and forth everyone took notice. Corporations and businesses wanted a piece of Paul in the environment this afforded Paul with many ancient trade secrets. Having an enigmatic personality soon he was able to befriend many. Having been led and breed for life tasks, Paul became quite successful in life endeavors. He acquired a first world-class restaurant, which featured the most succulent of morsels and the richest of desserts one could imagine wrapping a fork around. Oh yes, perspicacious Paul employed over millions of people and became notorious throughout the land.
Everyone knows that not everyone can be good at leading, organizing, managing and controlling the business. Some are excellent managers but not strong leaders. Patterns are used to help explain thing clearly. Vision and strategy are created. Thus, leading to achievement of goals, the crucial point about vision is not the authenticity but the effect that it has on others.
Managers organize to create a system use to implement plans. A company task is to choose a structure of jobs, staff it with suitable individuals and training is utilized for those who need it, plans are distributed throughout the workforce. Authority is then delegated. The big challenge of credibility is shoved into play. People really do need to believe the message that is relayed.
Direction setting the path fro movement while effective alignment gets people motivated to move in the right direction. Successful motivation gives others the energy to overcome barriers. Control is a basis for management. The purpose of which is to ensure that normal people who behave in a normal way are able to complete a job.
In short, Managers generally develop the qualifications to achieve its plans by organizing and staffing creating organizational structure and set up jobs for accomplishing plan requirements, staffing the assignment with essential individuals, communicating the plan to those people responsible for carrying out the plan, and the system is monitored for improvements. Leadership should not be such as “Phantom of the Opera” (Leroux, 2002). Perhaps a menagerie of episodes of mischance orchestrated by plausible mishaps which no one can explain. Some of terrible, some of it beautiful. Perhaps, everywhere there is a ghost in the opera, operating behind stages of pulled curtains and locked door, there is a profitable business venture waiting in the midst. Such events oftentimes take place during a change of management or the efforts of obtaining a license. The old one leaves and the new one takes over.
