Date the Unemployed, They're Lonely

If I had a job, I wouldn't be so lonely. So how about a date, at least?

I’ve been trying to get a date, but it’s hard when you’re unemployed. I remember an old album by Southern Culture on the Skids, it was called “Dirt Track Date”.  That’s me, the cheap date, looking for an even cheaper date!

But seriously, I went on a dating site, and before they let me go to my profile page they wanted me to answer some questions. Here’s a list of great questions and my possible responses:

Top 5 questions to ask an unemployed date:

#5 “Do you even go on and vacation, and why not?”: Hello?! I can’t even get downtown much less to Cancun. No, seriously, do I look like they want me, somewhere; anywhere?!

#4 "What’s the last book you read?": 7 Habits of Highly Successful Individuals; I’m expecting the dividends any day now!

#3 "What’s the last movie you saw?”: I’m not even allowed out in public in this shape, can you rent me a DVD?

#2 "What’s the most important thing in your life": Soup, broccoli and vitamins, I’m barely clinging to life much less enjoying one!

#1 "Tell us about your job" Uh, ummmm, uh….!
