Like most boys I dreamed and repeatedly day dreamed of being the next great footballer, the saviour of the English game in general and Birmingham City in particular. And let's face it for many years Birmingham City had a dire need of a saviour. I feel privileged to have grown up in the 1970s when the football was great, so was most of the music but not quite footballer's hairstyles. |
