Train Ride Arithmetic Trick
Tell your friend to solve a problem like this: A train with 20 people leaves Mexico and arrives at Chicago. 5 people gets off and 10 gets on. Give your friend some time to think and calculate. You can actually use any city or country that the train goes to, and how many people gets on or off. Try to use at least 5 stop destinations. Around that time, your friend would probably have been calculating how many people are on the train at that point. This is when you totally get them off guard by asking, “Now, how many times did the train stop?”
4 Wrong Answers
Bet your friend that he/she cannot answer 4 questions WRONG. Say easy questions like “How old are you?” and, “Where do you live?” for the first three questions. But when you get to the last question, look puzzled and ask, “That was three questions I've asked, right?” If your friend answers yes, then he/she has answered the fourth question correctly, thus you win the bet.
Say “Black”
Bet your friend that you can make him/her say “Black”. First ask your friend, “What's the three colors in the American flag?” The friend would reply, “Red, white, and blue.” Then quickly say, “Ha, I made you say "Blue".” He/She should reply, “What? Wasn't it supposed to be "Black"?” Now you really got your friend that word.
White?
Have your friend loudly say the word “White” 10 times. Then have him/her say the word another 10 times, but really loudly this time. Whey they finish, quickly have him/her answer this question: “What does a cow drink?” Your friend would probably say “Milk” as what a cow drinks, not water. This is because they have the words “White”, “Cow”, and “Drinking” clogged in their minds.
