But, if you think that you need to be on your own and you can do better without her/him, then, ending the relationship is better. It's hard to stay in a relationship where both sides doesn't grow in some areas. Relationships are two ways track, both sides should work hard and learn from each other. But, if one person think that the relationship goes south instead of north, ending the relationship will be better.
Try these things:
- Stop calling.
- Stop sending sweet messages.
- Make excuses.
- Forget her/his birthday.
- Forget your anniversary.
- If you're a guy, don't bring her flowers.
- If you're a gal, tell him I will be with my friends on Saturday night.
- Tell her, she's looking fat.
- Tell him, he's annoying.
- Introduce your stranger friend to her or him.
- Don't e-mail her or him.
- Don't pry.
- Stop asking about her or him and her or his family.
- Tell her/ him, "I need space"
- You can say, "It's not about you, it's about me"
- Say, "You're way too good for me, I'm not worth it"
- If you're the one who will make the first move to break the relationship, don't ever cry.
- Stop snooping on her/his profile, if ever she/he has facebook, myspace or etc.
- Return all her/his cards and letters.
- "Lets call it quits"
Then, disconnect. So simple right? But, trust me. It's very hard to do. If you have the guts then do it but if you don't have just let it go and then she/ he will eventually feel that the love doesn't exist anymore.
Okay, what are you waiting for? Tell her/him, "Lets just be friends?”
