A couple from Maine planned on vacationing in California, but the husband's plane ticket was accidentally for a flight one day before his wife's. Instead of booking a new flight, the man decided that he would go one day early and await his wife's arrival in their hotel in California. When he arrived, he sent an email to his wife back home. Unfortunately, he made typed his wife's email address wrong, and the message was rerouted.
The email arrived in the inbox of an old woman, whose husband had died of a heart attack in hospital mere hours before. The grieving widow was in for a shock when she checked her email. The message read:
“Hi, Honey,
I know it's only been a few hours, but I miss you already. It was a long trip to get here, but I'm glad I made it; I really love it here. I can't wait for your arrival tomorrow. See you then!
From your loving husband
P.S. Boy, it's hot down here!”
