Wicked Poker: All-Time Wildest Texas Hold'em Hands

In the past few years, No limit Texas Hold'em has become the most popular poker game in the world. Its popularity started when the game became televised in the United States in the early 2000s. Not long after, just like an avalanche, it quickly became the most played poker game not only in the United States, but in casinos world wide.

Five card stud was eliminated. Now without going in to it to much, for the extremely small number of people that don't know the game, the thing with Texas Hold'em is that opposing to five card stud, each player gets two cards and not five.

Once the cards are delt, a round of betting starts, then three community cards are delt, more betting, one more card, more betting and finally the river card. And of course, one last round of betting. As I said the name of the game is No Limit Texas Hold'em. If your not the sharpest tool in the shed, that means you can bet as high as you want at any given time of the game. That gives the game its beautiful psychological edge.

Have you ever heard the expression: "You can't bullshit a bullshiter". Well guess again! The beauty of the game is that even if you are a world wide known poker shark or even a small gold fish, the game depends on the size of your "kahones". No guts - No glory. You can have the worst hand on the table and still win big. It all depends on when you bet and how much.

The form is used in the widely televised main event of the World Series of Poker (WSOP) and the World Poker Tour (WPT). Let me just tell you guys, the stakes are high, the pots are massive and there's never a dull moment. Keep in mind that the players you se here are regular people like you and me. They applied to the tournaments online or at the casino for a ridicules cost of about 50$ (some for free), played and successfully beat hundreds of people to reach the final table and win millions of dollars!

I've compiled a few videos for the curious. Its a game that takes five minutes to learn and a lifetime to master. Here is some of the best action and a few of the biggest pots ever.

What Are The Chances?

This is one of my favorites. I'm not going to spoil it for you, but so much cash and so much luck put together = amazing action.

Look at All That Cash!

What a shame, I mean how good do you have to be? Think about it, loads of cash in front of your face, an amazing hand and your pot committed. You're definitely going "All In".

Thats What I Call a Poker Face

I'm Speechless...

So until Its my turn to be playing with the big sharks, you can find me kickin' ass on Facebook's most popular application, Texas Hold'em, winning loads of chips that are actually worth less than the crumbs on my keyboard.
