I’ve been watching a lot of horror films lately. So I decided to mix the horror with the comedy and I've made one helluva clip collection.
I've been watching a lot of horror films lately. I am pretty sure I wouldn't recommend it. I haven't been sleeping well. Yeah, and it changes some things. I've definitely been “doing it” with the lights on. And I know there is something under the bed, or at least something that can grab my feet that are hanging off the bed. Shadows are dancing. Yeah, the fear of the unknown has been slowly starting to creep back in. So what I have decided to do was use that little bit of fear to make a great list. And that is what I have done. It's a list of the Scariest Funny Moments of All-Time.*. * Or the best ones I could find*
The Evil Eye
This clip takes us back to the beginning of the horror genre. BIRTH. It's called The Evil Eye. It stars a young man looking to break into acting. He had limitless possibilities in his actor's toolbox, but we only needed one, The Evil Eye.
After you have been on this earth for a few days, you realize, that this world is a place of constant survival. Everyone and everything is potentially deadly, but with the understanding of a Kung Fu master you can prepare yourself for anything.
Kung-Fu Master
With the knowledge of Bruce Lee you enter the world that is a little darker. Knowing that everything is out to get you makes you strong and knowledgeable, but you're inexperienced. However, You know trouble, when you see it and “It's Not Funny!.... BLOOD!”
Misunderstood, and frustrated you rebel against the world. “Who are they, not to listen to me!” You start hanging out with a different crowd, doing “whatever”, you even stick your finger in your brother's mouth..
“Ouch,” Hmm, lesson learned. Just because an opponent can't talk, walk, sit up, or do anything, he is still deadly. So Never underestimate an Opponent.
Unless, It's that kid…
The more and more you think about it, the more you realized you could do anything; the only thing to fear is fear itself. “I am ready. Bring it on!”
However, this world is a scary place, for everyone, and especially parents. You have kids and you can parent, but you still really don't have complete control over them and deep down, you know, they know that. That is terrifying for any parent..
And this is why Dr. Phil is a putz..
When you get older, like 16, you start to take on responsibilities, which in itself is scary. The world gives you a job, which will slowly kill you and a car that will nearly kill you once every couple of years for the rest of your life. Ever fallen asleep at the wheel for a like a split second?
I mean when do you feel safe? At home? At work? What if you were a substitute teacher? And not just a substitute teacher, but also a substitute teacher of the 10th Grade on the last day of school!!!! Scary shit.
Even really nice jobs, like News Anchor, can be scary some days.
I mean that is some Hard Hitting journalism. And that was behind a desk, what if you were a field Reporter.
All in All, this is where I am at in life, looking for a professional place in this world and terrified that I don't have it yet. I want to be a filmmaker, and I am going be, starting at the end of next month. I am shooting my first short film, in my hometown, called “Blood in the Bay”. A horror short, hence my nightmares. For more go to the blood in the bay or my YouTube page and add me. I will leave you with one of my favorite clips, this alien looking baby makes the funniest faces.
