There are tons of street festivals, house parties, costume parties and parades that the grown-ups can attend too. We might not get the same amount of candy as the kidlets but it's always fun to dress up.
This monster killer went after a friendly one -- cookie monster. Maybe she's a soccer mom by day who just got tired of her tot singing C is for Cookie. Sometimes the darndest things can become really annoying!

OMG, this is not how I envisioned the tooth fairy at all. This one looks like he'd rough you up if you forgot to leave them under your pillow. The cigar is a nice touch.
This costume only makes sense if you're seen Monty Python and the Holy Grail. If you have, it's hysterical. If you haven't, I can't really explain it other than it's a bunch of monks walking around hitting themselves in the heads with a piece of wood while chanting. But it is funny. Very funny!
I love the bloomers on this banana costume. He looks a little overripe and beat up. I wonder if this is at the start of the night or the end of the night? The yellow pantyhose emphasize the chicken legs on this walking banana. Too funny!
Look, it's a Tetris brick running down the street! Very creative and deceptively simple. I guess this one dates me as well...
If you didn't recognize the tetris brick, you definitely won't recognize the bang on look this guy has of Weird Al Yankovic. Even the bad 80's moustache is in place. He's a dead ringer!
This autumn leaf costume is amazing and enchanting at the same time. I especially love the leaf painted on her face. So beautiful and creative.
This screams geek but it is really funny. It's the guy's myspace page! I love the fake open mouthed smile he has as he walks around. Everyone knows that geek is the new chic.

The worst scourge of modern society --- it's an identity thief! What really makes me wonder is the bunch of masks beside him. Is he planning on stealing Paris Hilton's identity???
Okay, I've always thought clowns were pretty scary but this guy definitely takes the cake. Whoever thought that clowns would be a good idea for kids??? I don't know if I'm even going to be able to sleep tonight! I like the detail of the skull buttons on his shirt. This guy has creepy down to a tee.
