Mauritain
One of the biggest cementeries of ships in the world is located in Nouadhibou, Mauritain. In this beach, there are more than 300 ships "deposited" on the sand.
In this satellite image you can see entire ships and separated parts of them.
Inhabitants of this country protest about this situation. They want the ships to be fixed so they can be sailed

The cause of this problem is the corruption of the government, that approves the deposits of ships for large amounts of money.

As you can see in the image above, people coexist with this problem.
Bangladesh
In Chittagong, Blangladesh, is the biggest petroleum-ships cemetery in the world.

When the sea goes back, lots of people go to the ships, to get hardware, iron and other pieces from these giants.

About 200,000 people are thought to work there, without special clothes, like gloves or boots.

The material taken in this place is about the 80% used by the country.

Women and children work there too, getting from the coasts small pieces of iron or rope.

Blessings.
Sincerely,
-Liane Schmidt.
