"The Underground Man" Geoff Smith was determined to hold the world record when he dethroned his mother Emma Smith, who only spent 101 days underground. Although he experienced severe loneliness and leg cramping, he was able to stay underground in a handmade coffin for over 140 days.
Extreme Ironing
This is a bizarre combination of outdoor sports and laundry that began in Leicester 10 years ago.
For the World Championship title, participants iron their clothing upside down, off mountains or in other "extreme" situations.
Toilet Racing
This event takes place on Lake Galves in Lithuania The winning team pushes a portaloo across the ice using four pushers and one sitter on the throne. The most recent winner was the team "The Number Two".

Think of the diameter of a jar of Prego tomato sauce, then picture the waist of one Cathie Jung. Yes, that is just how small it really is. She has been wearing a corset 24-7 for the past 12 years to maintain this record.
Longest Ear Hair
Maybe you've complained about clogged one too many times in your life but for Radhakant Bajpai of Naya Ganj, Uttar Pradesh, India, it's a part of life. Bajpai has been growing hair out of his ears ever since he can remember. The hair measures about 13.2 cm at its longest point.
"Making it to Guinness World Records is indeed a special occasion for me and my family," said Radhakant. "God has been very kind to me."

The fastest banjo player in the country is Todd Taylor who played Banjo at a speed of 210 beats per minute in Palm Bay, Florida.

Oldest Stripper
Bernie Barker from the USA began his stripping career when he was 60 years old and worked frequently at Club LeBare, Miami Beach. Sadly he died in March 2007.
