The Museum of Death in located somewhere on the side streets in California. It has recently moved to an undisclosed location in Hollywood, California.
The Curator JD Healy and Cathy Shultz both own this museum that is the first of its kind. For only $7.00, you can explore an environment that too this day has been taboo. It is a way for visitors to investigate an unavoidable way of life.

The most interesting collection was started by Cathy Shultz in 1991 when she started communicating with serial murderers in jail. She started writing letters and much to her surprise they were all answered.

Over the years, she has obtained exclusive artwork from several serial psychopaths including the notorious John Wayne Gacy who was convicted of 33 counts of murder.

They also have an exhibit depicting the 1997 Heaven Gate suicide of 39 people. They have actually obtained an actual bunk bed from the scene, a purple blanket, Nike shoes, and patches worn by the participants.

They have also obtained several pieces of evidence from the Black Dahlia case. The Black Dahlia still remains one of the most notoriously unsolved cases of the 1940's.

The owners continue to take donations of the historical sense to add to their one of a kind operation.

Many local funeral parlors have donated promotional items in the way of combs, mirrors, and ice tongs to name a few.
The Owners are both quite normal. They love life and they believe that we don't live long in our bodies so one day they both hope to become exhibited in the museum as well.
Good job Lauren.
