As scientist announce they are one step closer to developing a real life invisibility cloak, people begin imagining all the interesting things they could do if they could be invisible. Here is a quick rundown of the top ten things to do while wearing an invisibility cloak.

Spy on Family or Friends

Do you want to know what your family and friends REALLY think about you? Do your invisibility cloak and sneak into the room when they are talking. If what they say is good, you can slip out again with a warm glow of satisfaction. If they rip you apart and rake you across the coals when they think you are not listening, it's time to get new friends.

Spy on Teacher or Boss

Not only can you find out what they truly think of you, you might just learn something that will give you a leg up on the next test or employee evaluation. Some might consider this cheating, but if you are smart enough and bold enough to sneak around with an invisibility cloak, you deserve some sort of benefit from it.

Play Tricks on People

When you are invisible, it is easy to sneak up behind people and tap them on the shoulder, or move things around so they become confused or nervous. You can even pretend your are a ghost and scare people by haunting them. Think of Harry Potter throwing snowballs at Draco Malfoy. Invisibility allows you to get back at your enemies in wonderful ways.

Save Money

I will never advocate theft, but you could use your invisibilty cloak to sneak into movie theaters or other events without paying. Taking extra ketchup packets at the condiment stand in the take-out restaraunt will no longer be a problem. If someone notices anything, they'll never be able to find you to punish you.

Battle for the Forces of Good Super-Hero Style

Far better than playing tricks and spying, an invisibilty cloak can allow you to become a super hero who battles for the forces of good. Sweep through the world like a mysterious force, righting wrongs, fighting injustice, and spreading happiness in your wake. Just be careful with what types of things you attempt when invisible. Helping little old ladies across the street when they cannot see you can have disasterous results.

The day the invisibility cloak is invented, that would be put an end to women's privacy. Imagine...guys would have the ability to peep on women's bathrooms whenever they want. That would be undesirable to society.

Personally I fear the women's restroom, but I would certainly be spying on my boss, maybe dropping ghostly hints about a raise or a promotion. Imagine, a note saying "give this man a raise" comes out of nowhere. Creepy awesome!

I love this idea. As a Harry Potter fan, I have been quite envious of his invisibility cloak and have often wished I had one.
