There have been many famous quotations throughout history dedicated to the female gender. I have purposely searched in older literature to find a few that are not as commonly known, because I know we have very clever readers at Triond. Here are just a few. See if you can fill in the blanks.

In reading the older literature, I became increasingly grateful that I live in present times. It must have been very difficult for women in the 1600, 1700 and 1800s. While not agreeing totally with women"s lib, as I like to be treated like a lady, I am grateful to those who went before us, and conquered many of the old mindsets. Women still struggle to make a fair living, and many women raise children on their own with little or no assistance, but another great quote is “We've come a long way, Baby.” Who said that?
