When I went to School, we were taught about the Untied States, the wars that the States fought, even within the United States. The Civil Wars that were fought, and the United States is forever on our news stations. I guess that's why we Canadians know more about the United States, than most Americans know about Canada. We really aren't an interesting Country, nor are we, or were we a War going Country until Mr. Bush insisted that we join him in his quest to take over Iraq, and from there, its' never been the same in Canada.
The one thing you wouldn't find Canada doing is spending millions of dollars trying to find out if our Prime Minister had a Sex affair with a clerk. We just couldn't be bothered spending that type of money on what most of the world found rather foolish, in the first place. If Canada had that kind of money to waste, and it went on something so foolish as the money that was spent on the Bill Clinton affair, Canadians would have a fit. There are just too many other priorities to spend money on such as the homeless, and homeless shelters, and Medicare, which is so important in Canada.
The last thing to be said about Canada is we have Medicare. In Canada, it doesn't matter your money income, your Race, Religion or Creed. If you are sick, and need an operation, it's free. You will never die on the street, because you don't belong to a HMO, or you don't have Private Medical Insurance. Anyone can walk into a Doctors office and be treated without putting a cent out of their pockets. The flip side to this is that we pay high taxes, but that being said, I'd sooner pay high taxes, than worry if I had enough money to pay for Heart Surgery if I needed it, as some Americans do. Another thing about Canada is our Prescription Drugs are much cheaper than the States, and many American people buy Canadian Prescription Drugs, over the Internet, as they cost way too much money in the States. Selling Medicines over the Internet has been very popular in Canada, for a long time.
Without doubt this Article more sounds like a Tourist Brochure, but my intention as I wrote this Article, is to bring as much information concerning Canada, as possible to you, the American Reader. Maybe some of you will come and visit Canada, wouldn't that be nice to see more of our American friends coming this way, as it's getting harder and harder to get into the United States, with all of the Policies that George Bush has put on our both Borders.
While I will never meet any of you personally, I'm sure if you visit Canada you won't be sorry that you took me up on the invitation to come and see this great Country.
