These dangerous meals can cause death in a single dinner hour.
People need consequence- the danger sense is part of life.

As for \"humane\" butchery usually dying things release chemicals into their blood that make the meat taste bad. The faster something dies the less of that chemical is excreted. Yeah something that is \"half dead\" could excrete that chemical. I expect that the head which usually excretes it is removed first. (As for a fish with its middle fried, well the connection to the head would be severed fast.) That fits most definitions of dead. When meat is older, it is more oxidized so it tastes bad. So fresher is better.

If it tasted good then it died fast.
Slow death ruins the meat.
Fresh food tastes better.
O2 + Microbes eat old food.

Meat has all the amino acids aka protein that people need. Plants lack some. To get food with all the protein people need they must either 1. eat meat or 2. eat plants from different continents. Meat is simple. It also has the fat people need- yes people need fat. Cell membranes are made of phospo-lipids aka fat.

Every seafood connoiseur knows that seafood - all seafood - must be consumed as close to live as possible. Good lobsters in even AMERICAN restaurants are cooked while alive. Wrap a piece of string around the hands so it can\'t move, then pop it in boiling water, or oven or what not, and hear it scream. You\'ll be paying $150 for that...

Just because you\'re ignorant of what is going on in the kitchen doesn\'t give you the right to knock what others do with food. The freshes way of eating seafood is really the only tasty way of eating it. Waiting for it to die is allowing the sea creature to release its neurotoxins into the meat, hence spoiling the meat. All fish should be filleted in 2 manners: 1. fillet the meat off the fish while the fish is alive. 2. flash freeze the fish for 15 mins so that the neurotoxin cannot travel along the blood veins, and then chop the head off before it thaws. Obviously, the first alternative is superior since frozen ingredients tastes crap.
