DNA Dove Birds

This is one of my most favorite weird ideas. I got the idea after watching the movie “HOME ALONE 2”.

I think most of the people must have seen this movie. If yes, then you must have seen the last scene in which the hero gives a white dove to his friend as a token of friendship.

Now, suppose after 15 years hero finds the same dove bird in the hands of some one else. Then, it is possible that he might think that his friend has betrayed him. But, in reality it is just that it is the duplicate copy of the dove bird which he had given to his friend.

So in short, the problem with this simple dove is the simplicity with which it can be duplicated and hence making it difficult to identify the true friend.

So, to overcome this problem I thought of some crazy biotechnology application.

It is like this:

To develop a dove bird, this would contain DNA fragment of both friends. I mean to say that each dove bird has the single stranded DNA fragment of both friends which are unique to these friends.

Since according to the laws of genetics, no two individual can have perfectly same genetic makeup unless and until they are clones.

So, now one dove bird will contain specific single stranded DNA fragments of both friends and other will contain the complementary strand. Now, these complementary strands will attract each other.

Maximum force of attraction will present, only if two strands are perfectly complementary to each other. This force of attraction can be detected by a detector.

So, when the two original dove birds come close to each other then a confirmation signal would be sent to the user.

This will help to maintain the friendship for longer periods of time with great purity and trust and will prevent all kinds of misconceptions.

For more such interesting scientific paradoxical topics, refer following links:

So, this topic will attract controversy. However, you must read this article carefully to understand the paradox which smoking creates.
